Welcome Fr. Tim!

I worked in corporate America for nearly twenty years prior to entering seminary in Florida to study for the Diocese of St. Petersburg. I had a fantastic experience at St. Vincent de Paul Seminary, but while there, discerned that religious life was what the Lord was calling me to live. I transferred to the Oblates of St. Francis de Sales, and was ordained to the priesthood in June, 2013.

I served at DeSales University as an Instructor of Theology and Chaplain, and since August 2018, I have served as Associate Pastor at Holy Family Parish in Adrian, Michigan, where I also served as Chaplain to our local council of the Knights of Columbus (I am a 3rd Degree Knight).

I enjoy reading and am a sports fan. At one time I was pretty fanatical but have calmed down as I've aged, but still root for the Pittsburgh Steelers, Penguins, and Pirates. My parents were originally from Western Pennsylvania, so, even though I grew up in the Philadelphia suburbs, my teams were always the teams from Pittsburgh. Needless to say, I took some grief for my sports alliances! I enjoy golf, but don't play that much anymore, so I enjoy watching the pro's when I have the chance.

I look forward to serving as your Pastor and ask for your patience with me. In return, I promise to work to fulfill this quote from our patron,  St. Thomas More: "What part so ever you take upon you, play that as well as you can, and make the best of it."

Hello St. Thomas More Oratory!

Before I introduce myself, I would first like to thank Fr. Michael for offering me the opportunity to introduce myself prior to my arrival on July 1st. He has also been very helpful in preparing me for my new assignment so that I can hit the ground running as your pastor once I arrive in Newark.

Originally from Levittown, Pennsylvania, I attended Archdiocese of Philadelphia grade-school and high-school. After graduating from Bishop Egan in 1979, I attended the University of Pittsburgh and double-majored in English and Communications.
