Come out to the Water Walk to support Water is Life, Kenya - an organization working to bring clean water to people in Kenya.
Saturday, April 28
10:00 am - 1:00 pm
rain or shine!
Come join us and carry water around the reservoir and experience the life of women in rural Kenya - as they fetch water for their families. Can you carry 1 gallon, 2 gallons, or 5 gallons? Would that be enough water for you to use all day? Come learn about water use (and waste).
It will be a fun and educational experience.
This year, 2 special guests are coming from Kenya - Dorcus and Larasha.
They will share how our clean water projects have impacted their lives.
Two food trucks will be on hand.
Locally-roasted fresh African coffee beans will available for purchase.
And of course, you can see (and buy) our beautiful beaded jewelry and handicrafts.
Please register today. These funds will help us finish Phase II of the clean water project in Kuku (water storage, latrines, and sanitation trainings).
